like people, stars are born, live their lives mature, grow old and die. Their lives are measures in millions or billions of years unlike us. For a star to be born a gaseous nebula must happen, it will collapse and crumble but that will not be its destruction it will be its birth. We own our entire existence to the sun and the other stars that came before as they died they donated valuable elements we need for life. we are fascinated by the unknown and there is much more to b e learned about astronomy. The sun is the largest star in our solar system we rely on the sun for light, heat, and things we need to survive but what happens when the sun starts to die out and can't support life on earth? We never think of this because we still have millions of years, but eventually the sun will go through its next phase and will no longer support life and earth as we know it will never be the same. life will start to die out the oceans will all evaporate and water will become a faded memory. Plants will go next they will not be able to photosynthesis and won't have access to things they need to survive. We will be long gone before the sun dies out when the sun reaches the red giant phase and the earth reaches incredibly high temperatures that the human body can not handle. This process will not occur in our lifetime it might not even occur when humans are still alive but it will occur. Like people stars die at one point in their lifetime.
